Thread: ZAX when i right click on a file to scan.... problem

    Default ZAX when i right click on a file to scan.... problem

    but i have quick question and i hope im in the right forum. i have extream. when i right click on a file to scan them for virus it has stoped telling me about them. im thinking about reinstalling extreamn...... but will it keep the key? or will it be worse and ill have to buy another set of keys?( i have used up my other 2 keys on my wife's and son's computer).

    A.) if you purchased a 3 license copy of ZA Extreme that your family use,

    Then they all use the Same License, and as long as your ONLY using Zone Alarm on three Computers, there is no problem re-installing Zone Alarm and it's license..

    It sounds like all you may need is a RESET of your ZA Database..

    To repair this problem, please follow the steps below. Please note that
    this will remove your program permission settings (so you may want to make

    note of them), but re-establishing them is a simple process.

    1.) Hold down the Ctrl and Shift keys together
    2.) Right click on the ZA icon near your clock in the system tray lower right corner
    3.) Choose 'Reset' from the box that comes up
    4.) Choose Yes on the Reset Settings dialog box
    5.) When prompted, choose OK to restart your system
    6.) Follow the on screen configuration prompts after reboot

    Did you updated any software in your computer or installed new software recently?

    The new update or the new software may conflict with ZA and cause this issue.
