    Question [SOLVED] ZoneAlarm newer files replaced by old ones by ZA servers

    I've installed the software version was

    ZoneAlarm version: 9.2.057.000
    TrueVector version: 9.2.057.000
    Driver version: 9.2.035.000
    ZoneAlarm Browser Security 1.5.227.0
    ZoneAlarm ForceField Spyware Scanner 1.5.227.0
    ZoneAlarm ForceField Anti-Phishing Database 1.2.104.0
    ZoneAlarm ForceField Spyware Sites Database 04.110


    installing But later versions changed

    ZoneAlarm version: 9.2.057.000

    Driver version: 9.2.035.000
    ZoneAlarm Browser Security 1.5.227.0
    ZoneAlarm ForceField Spyware Scanner 1.5.53.114
    ZoneAlarm ForceField Anti-Phishing Database 1.2.104.0
    ZoneAlarm ForceField Spyware Sites Database 04.080

    Why has changed versions ?

    Good question... I have reported it too.
    This happens also on retails versions of ZA.

    I will let you know if I get a response. Probably a glitch at server level.

    It means what it is written, that new version files are replaced by old version. It is likely a misconfiguration of the ZA server.

    Please do not BOLD or write big letters in the messages. This is interpreted as rude and unhelpful apart from been difficult to read.

    P.S. Product updates set to manual only refers to ZA product updates NOT forcefield. You can't turn off forcefield updates.

    My automatic updates have disabled
    Means to update the manual has been
    Why file has been replaced

    The issue seems resolved both "spyware scanner" and "sites database" are updated to most recent versions even if numbering may not be fully consistent.

    ZoneAlarm ForceField Spyware Scanner 1.5.53.178
    ZoneAlarm ForceField Spyware Sites Database 04.125
