    Default Which email program??

So Win 7 cam with no email program, and ZA is not scanning any email. No Outlook express kind of leaves less programs not protected to choose from. Right now I'm using Pegasus because it was easy to set up, Thunderbird will either send or receive, not both.

What email is ZA working with to be able to scan, when will it come out and in the meantime, what do you suggest as the most secure program? I don't like this at all, something has to change, hope soon.

    Hi!
regardless the e-mail program you use ZA will always check e-mails and attachments 'on access' (i.e. when you open them). So, you are perfectly safe.

The ZA antispam feature only supports Outlook, outlook express and windows Mail for Vista 32 and 64 (Windows Live Mail is not supported).

Windows mail comes with office? So much for open office. I think Pegasus is more secure then thunderbird because it does not allow clicking links, if you want to use it you have to copy and paste it yourself, but I have noticed it doesn't always successfully send to addresses I know are valid.

I just feel totally exposed without the phishing folders and all that.

Thunderbird has many features to protect your e-mail including spam (and phishing). You may want to learn its functions via the online help or website in the net.

    For example:
    http://opensourcearticles.com/thunde...nglish/part_05

Moreover you have plenty of add-ons to complete its functions:
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/

    ... Including anit-phishing extensions:
