Default Xnews & Zonealarm not happy together since latest version

A short while ago I upgraded my Zonealarm Free to version 9.2.057.000 and have recently noticed that getting a list of articles in Xnews can now take over an hour and Zonealarm is taking 40% CPU. If I shutdown Zonealarm the list for the same group only take minutes.

What can I do to correct this as it used to work on my previous version of Zonealarm?

    Cheers

    Baz

this sounds like either something was changed in your ZA Settings, or you may have other new software conflicting with ZA to cause the Slowdown..

To repair this problem, please follow the steps below.

1.) Hold down the Ctrl and Shift keys together
2.) Right click on the ZA icon near your clock in the system tray lower right corner
3.) Choose 'Reset' from the box that comes up
4.) Choose Yes on the Reset Settings dialog box
5.) When prompted, choose OK to restart your system
6.) Follow the on screen configuration prompts after reboot

Did you updated any software in your computer or installed new software recently?

The new update or the new software may conflict with ZA and cause this issue.
