    Default not-a-virus:RemoteAdmin ... false positive?

Three occurrences of not-a-virus:RemoteAdmin.Win32.WinVNC-based.f, one each in Common Files, in Intuit QuckBook files, and in an old Symtantic Technical Support file. VirusTotal shows a Comodo recognition.

I'm asked to repair. Anyone else seen this?

If "VirusTotal" only reported just one recognition, then it is most likely a true False positive..

For peace of mind you can see here below for standard steps:

    For better protection see here:
xyz was not detected. What I should do?

If you have ZA Extreme I would recommend you turn ON virtualization. If you have then you perfectly protected.

Also the Not-A-Virus is basically telling you the signature for VNC was found but might be a legitimate use of vnc in those files.

Anything with Not-A-Virus is more like a warning.

Thanks. I saw but didn't comprehend the VirusTotal results.
