Default Problems updating to newest ZA - Lose Internet, Crashes at 5%

I have two computers with ZA on them, a desktop and a laptop. I installed the newest version of ZA on my desktop just fine, but it's not working on my laptop. When I run the update, It gets to 5%, then says:

    The Upgrade has been canceled

    Error
The file c:\Users\Andy Wayne\AppData\Local\Temp\080410195251\GLFA83.tmp could not be opened. Access is denied.

If I reboot my computer, I lose my internet access. The only way to get my internet back is to try installing the ZA update again. It fails as I mentioned about, but attempting to install fixes the internet connection. I don't know what I need to do to get it working right again. I hope I don't have to do a clean install, because I don't want to lose my settings.

    Version Info:

    ZA Extreme Security version 9.1.603.000
    TrueVector security engine version 9.1.603.000
    AntiSpam version 6.0.0.2383
    ZA Browser Security 1.5.149.0

    Computer Info:
    Compaq Presario C700 Series
    Windows Vista 32 bit

I'm Sorry that you had Hardware Problems, the failure of your computer Hardware was not caused by Zone Alarm...

It is Sometimes very Difficult to Diagnose and fix a Computer from halfway across the Country,
without All the Details, without the ability to sit in front of your Computer monitor and see what's going on..

    *** NOTICE:

Whenever posting here- it is always advisable to list your:Windows OS (XP SP 2-3 / Vista SP1-2 / Windows 7 32-Bit/64-Bit),

List your ZoneAlarm product Type (Free,Pro,AV, Suite,Extreme) and also the ZA version number (7.0,8.0,9.0,9.1,9.2,9.3),

Was this an English Version or other Language version of Zone Alarm?

List the Brand of Computer and CPU, also is it a DeskTop or Laptop computer.

Please List any other Security Programs installed as these programs may be conflicting with Zone Alarm.

The safest procedure is to :

1.) Download the Latest installer preferably with IE Browser and (no Download Manager/accelerator like Get-Right, Livewire, Bit-Torrent, uTorrent) and save it to your Hard drive.

(MultiPlatform, installer will install on Both WinXP SP3 and Vista and Windows7)

NOTE: If you need a Language other than English, Click on the (Global Sites) Tab on the Top Right side to Select ZA Propducts in other Languages..

    ZoneAlarm Extreme Security updates
    ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite updates
    ZoneAlarm Pro firewall updates
    ZoneAlarm Antivirus updates
    ZoneAlarm free updates

2.) Before you Uninstall your current ZA, UNcheck "Load ZA... at startup" (under Overview - Preferences tab)

3.) Reboot the Computer. So that vsmon.exe/TrueVector will be removed from Memory

4.) Now Uninstall Zone Alarm using Windows Uninstall or on Windows 7 , Control Panel/Uninstal a program option.

5.) Now Install the new update (clean Install) and Accept the default Setting, Auto-Learn Mode and Choose Trusted Zone, not Internet Zone..

*** NOTICE: Please note that ZAAV, ZASS and ZAXS do not play nice with many overlapping security tools (even if disabled).
