In fact, it usually never completes. I have to restart my computer and hope it doesn't automatically start again right away. Resetting ZoneAlarm has not helped. Pushing the Cancel button on the View Updates Screen does nothing. It makes it impossible to use my computer. It's been doing this for a couple of weeks.
