Thread: IE8 hangs with 9.3.014.000

    Default IE8 hangs with 9.3.014.000

    I am only an occasional user of IE8, so it was a few days after I updating Zone Alarm Internet Security Suite before I found IE8 hung on starting.

    Testing shows that when I disable the Browser Security option in ZISS 9.3.014.000 the problem goes away.

    Anyone else had this problem? Anyone found a fix (I have not yet tried adjusting the settings).

    Never seen this problem reported here, best to check and troubleshoot directly with with ZA technical support. Link to support in my signature.

    I have has no problems with IE8 and ZAISS 9.3.014 on both WinXP SP3 and Window 7

    Please report directly to the official ZA technical support at the link in my signature. They are the only one able to troubleshoot and/or log your issue properly. we are all users here in this User Forum.

    When Contacting Tech Support..

    Give them more information about you Computer configuration and what the steps you take to reproduce the IE8 problem so they can try and reproduct the problem on their Test computers?

    ZAISS version
    PC CPU speed
    PC memory size
    Windows OS version including Service packs
    is this a Laptop or Desktop and Brand name.
    Version of software having issues.
    Exactly what is done to reproduce the issue in the application.
