I'm am about to format everything on my hard drive despite probably losing vital financial and personal information that is stored on it.
Zone Alarm has popped up with a virus warning me that it will take my personal financial details, login and passwords. I am extremely worried about this I cannot afford to let my information get stolen.

It is just information about new viruses.
There is no indication that your system is infected. You can just ignore it.

Just to let you know that because of your recent scare tactic (http://forums.zonealarm.com/showthread.php?t=75328) I've uninstalled your product. This is way too pushy for my taste...
Hi, I recently got a message that appeared to be from Zone Alarm about a new virus called zeus.zbot, it had link to more information and how to order more protection. I clicked both links, the information link did nothing and the order link led me to what appeared to be a Zone Alarm website. However, I am wondering if this message was in fact a virus. The message looks like this:
I really need to know if I have to get this taken care of, as this is the computer I use for all my work. Thank you in advance.

Letting you know that in addition to your ZA Free Firewall
You also Need a Good Anti-Virus Program to protect you against Viruses.
If you already have a Good Updated Anti-Virus program installed,
Then You can just ignore the Notice:
Note: Checkpoint offers additional protection with Zone Alarm Anti-Virus, ZA Security Suite or ZA Extreme Security,
all three provide Additional Security that are not available in the ZA Free Basic Firewall..

Message shows up saying I have to click a button to protect my credit cards and banking information.
Warning! This looks like a classic phish. I assume they want you to click on a button which ends up sending your credit card information to the guys who wrote the virus! DO NOT CLICK THE BUTTONS!
Does anyone have a removal tool for this?
The only way I've been able to eliminate it is to uninstall zone alarm free.
Is anyone else infected with this virus?
The guys who write these viruses are getting better and better - now they are attacking firewalls!
I'm very disappointed with ZA for sending out the bogus scare regarding ZeuS.Zbot.aoaq. Any more of these childish marking ploys will cause me to uninstall ZA and get my firewall protection from someone else.
