    Question AV - Fails to Update..??

    I notice that many people is having this same problem about the AV failing to update just out of the blue now.. whats the dealio..??
    vsmon.exe tries connecting to 195.95.193.11:80 for updates..??
    EU, Europe - AKAMAI TECHNOLOGIES
    Error: download error...!!!
    WTF..??
    Why it try to get updates from Europe when I live in USA..??

    I see no widespread issues reported on updates. They are working fine. Yes, Akamai can be used. What is akamai? --> HERE. Mind to contact the official support at the link in my signature to try to troubleshoot issue with your updates?

    May be you could also think about updating your ZA! You are running a very old build. That build is known to create several issues on XP systems.

    Btw, you seem very much stressed about AKAMAI and vsmon and keep posting equivalent messages:

    Did you ever contacted ZA official support as suggested? It is good norm, also for helping other users of this forum to feedback here with solution and helpful posts. Thank you in advance for trying it.

    Finally, if you start not trusting ZA connections then you should instantly remove it from your system and use a tool you feel confortable with. Its your first line of defense and you should allow free movement to it. Paranoia raising its the last thing you want from your security package.
