Default Zone Alarm Gone Nuts - Over a 1000 Virus's or False Positives

Please help me out. I don’t know whats happening….

I did not run any .exe files . I was just surfing the web and all of a sudden Zone alarm notified me of 2 different virus’s .

Since then (the last hour) it has found the above 2 virus’s in over a 1000 different locations on my PC.

The files that supposedly contain these virus’s or Trojans end in .exe or .dll and appear completely innocent – they have been installed on my computer for months. Such as this one:

    Virus.Win32.Nimnul.a was found in C:\Program Files\Google\Google Earth\client\googleearth.exe on 06/10/2010 06:55:16

Even my security software files that end in .exe are supposedly infected.

I ran a scan and it “repaired” these files only for them to re-appear. I don’t even have to run a zone alarm scan for the Scan Results window to pop up telling me I have the Virus.Win32.Nimnul.a virus.

Im thinking of uninstalling zone alarm and re-installing. Im a complete newbie to this. What should I do.
