Thread: Ever Cookie?

    Default Ever Cookie?

Does anyone know anything about the evercookie? I heard that HTML5, apparently lets coders create the "evercookie." This cookie places data in at least 10 places on your computer and doesn't get deleted simply by using the "delete cookies" function of your Web browser.

I think the potential for abuse of HTML5 evercookies could become a web surfer's privacy nightmare crossing the line between "cookie" and "spyware."

Does anyone know more about this and how to prevent yourself from being "evercookied"?

    Hopefully zonealarm will do it.

Only judging from the update frequency I would not recommend it. Last build is more than a year old.
