    Default virus/trojan infected

Today although using a trial version of ZA Security Suite, at some website I cant remember because I had several Tabs running. I got a virus from one of the sites I was looking at. I used ComboFix to clear it and other files in my application data folder.

    "Win32.Nimnul.a", "faegar", "ukze" and in system32 "dmlconf.dat"

I have my Host file in System32/drivers set as 'read only', yet I got infected and ZA was going mad in telling me file after file was infected.

How can I set ZA or my folders etc to prevent this happening again.

    thanks

    Thanks,

Did a scan as suggested and 114 files infected with :-

    trojan-dropper.vbs.exe2vbs.b and trojan-downloader.java.agaent.hx

ZA says they are a high risk and yet others on net they are low risk.

They are Quarantined, should I restore or delete.

    Thanks

    Hi!

Low risk? There is no low risk malware nowadays. If you are confused or don't want to follow ZA cleaning up then please follow up directly with malware experts at bleepingcomputer or spyware hammer. They will help you to clean the system and give guidance on infections.

    Thanks,
