when i start my pc i get 2 za advanced alerts as follows
services and controller application is trying to use generic host process win 32 services to act as a server.
source i.p-0.0.0.0 port135
services and controller application is trying to use generic host process win 32 services to access the internet
destination i.p-255.255.255.255 dhcp
im not pc savvy at all so could someone tell me if this is normal.
ive included the following information to assist.
smart defence advisor shows the second alert as ntl who is indeed my isp..
under advanced tab i have "enable advanced programme control" ticked...
"generic host process" has 4 green ticks and 3 green bars...
any advice in laymans terms would be very much appreciated
i recently put permissions to "ask" under server> trusted next to everything in my programme list because i read on here that very few programmes should use this. is there any exceptions?
