    Angry Mousekey & Hotkey Problem

Hi everyone, I'm new here. I've got RSI from mouse use, so for the last 10 years I've used mousekeys (Control Panel-Accessibility Options-Mousekeys) and the underlined Hotkeys together with Alt. I've also used ZA firewall and Forcefield for a long time. The problem is with FF. The last good FF I downloaded was Nov 11th 2008. The trouble started with the upgrade downloaded 02 Dec 2008. You're not going to believe this! FF more or less completely turned off the Mousekeys and rendered unuseable much of the Hotkey function. Every minute or so FF switched the Mousekeys to right click which made typing text rather entertaining... It only happens while browsing, it's fine when I'm off the web. Switching back to the older good version of FF cured it.

I've just bought Extreme Security and installed it on both my computers and, oh dear, you've guessed it. Got the same prob. It's taken me about half an hour to type this, during which time the machine has switched to right click about twenty times, plastering the text all over the show.

    Anyone any ideas?

Its very doubtful support will be able to make it work without basically turning off Forcefield.

ZAFF is very picky and causes a lot of issues for applications that interface with the keyboard or screen captures.

We have no way to white list apps to allow them not to be monitored by ZAFF.

My suggestion would be that since you just bought Extreme would be to get a refund for it and downgrade to Suite where no ZAFF is present so your keyboard app will work with out interference.
