Default [SOLVED] zone alarm 9.1.007.004 french

    Hello
First excuse me if the subject has already been resolved in the forum
Since english version 9.2.076 caused problems with my antivirus ( Antivir 10 then Avast 5), I uninstalled it and I installed the lates frencht version 9.1.007.004 but I was surprised to see a toolbar on my browsers (Firefox and internet Explorer) that slows the browsing on my old PC.
So I uninstalled the toolbar "Add and Remove Programs" and the bars were actually missing.

    But in C: \ Program Files, I see: C: \ Program Files \ CheckPoint \ ZAForceField

Thank you to tell me what files I can delete?

    Hi!

I am not sure there is an easy way to remove the toolbar once installed. The safest and cleanest approach is to UNcheck the toolbar at product install. Remove ZA, re-install it but this time choose 'custom install' and UNcheck the toolbar. Done...

    The toolbar is uninstalled.

But Zone Alarm allows a lot of residue after uninstall (I've already spent plenty of time to properly remove previous versions ...). So it is not sure that this folder CheckPoint disappears after uninstall.

Would not it be easier to know if this folder is missing with a custom installation ?..

Not sure about checkpoint but forcefield yes... In any case the folder will be empty.
If you have manually removed it then you will have left overs in the registry and other system files. Not really the right way to do it unless you look for troubles or for a PC slowly accumulating ****.

I always uninstalled correctly any software …with “Panneau de configuration” and “Ajout et suppression de programmes” (I do not know how to translate into English)

Default zone alarm 9.1.007.004 french end)

    I've done wrong understanding...

Finally I uninstalled and after uninstalling, it remained on the PC:

    The folder InternetLogs in C:\Windows\
The folder CheckPoint (empty) in C:\program Files\
    I deleted this two folders

    And this key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CheckPoint

I install again ZA with custom method and now it's clean!
    thank you!
