    Default ZoneAlarm weird update message

    I've been getting this update message since a few days and it looks like it's a fake. I've already scanned a full scan with avast but couldn't find anything.

    Looks OK to me... but if you want to be sure. Remove ZA and install the latest version you find here (9.2.076.000)

    Woah! that was a fast reply! But I don't think it's actally ZoneAlarm that is giving me this popup because of the use of all-caps. I haven't ever seen an update message like this before.

    As you wish... then proceed as I have suggested if your ZA is older than 9.2.076.000 or if you want to update.

    Another weird thing I just noticed while I whas removing skype(checking if this was the cause) was that I had set the remind me later to 60 days, but when I rebooted it showed the pop-up again. Even when I started my pc just now it showed it again.

    Got to have to wait for my father to fix this (he probaly won't).

    Hi!

    if you are running on limited user account then this is possible. To resolve the issue just update to the latest version. Remove ZA and install the latest. BUT you need to do it from an administration account.
