    Angry ZoneAlarm Extreme 64bit

Problem: I would like to find out if there is a 64 bit version of ZoneAlarm Extreme. Tech support keep saying that the install program will work for both 32/64 bit Windows 7. What happens is that there are some problems with the ZA Ex 32bit on 64bit Windows 7 and Tech support don't have an answer. Every time I install the program, it installs in Program Files(x86) meaning that its 32 bit only. Rumors on the Internet is that there is a 64bit of ZoneAlarm.

    Question:
Does anyone know if there is a 64 bit version of ZoneAlarm(any version)?

There is a components of ZA Ex that hangs Windows 7 with Avast Anti-Virus is installed. (Note that Antivirus in ZA is disabled).

    Any help is welcomed!

    Hi!

Sorry all users here. As far as I know ZA support 64bit version of windows 7 and VISTA. The GUI is 32bit and core drivers are 64bit. All latest versions support 64bit. There is little if no advantages to have a full 64bit coding considering the low memory and CPU usage by a security program....

But if you re looking for a 100% 64bit coding then sorry you need to look somewhere else.

You can't install ZA extreme with other overlapping tools like AVAST even if disabled. Use ZAPRO instead.

You can't install ZA extreme with other overlapping tools like AVAST even if disabled.
Just One, Not Two -- Never use two anti-virus products at the same time. Completely uninstall one before installing another; simply disabling/ shutting off one anti-virus while trying to use/ install another is not recommended and will cause some sort of problem/ errors - please "properly" un-install one before installing a new anti-virus software.
    Use the vendor's uninstall utility:

    - or try AppRemover,
    - or use the Windows add/remove software tool in the control panel. Use of the vendor's uninstall utility is preferred.
