Zonealarm frequently reports stability problems with Internet Explorer (8.0.6001.18702), and Process Explorer reports ISWLDRC.dat as a process, with Company listed as FreeRide Games Toolbar. There may be as many as 5 instances of this process which use almost 100% of processor time. There are 2 files with this name, one in C:\Program Files\CheckPoint\ZAForcefield\ (6656 bytes), and one ISWLDRC.DAT-18C43E5E.pf in C:\Windows\Prefetch\ (42240 bytes).
Terminating one or two of these processes frees up enough processor time that I can restart Windows, but the problem reappears when a user runs FreeRide Games. I intend to reinstall MSIE. Do I need to take more extreme measures to investigate an infection, or just ban FreeRide Games?
