Smile DOES Zone Extreme Conflict with ESET Nod 32

Does anyone know if the Zone Extreme will conflict with ESET Nod32? I must purchase something with more security, as soon as possible.

thank you to anyone who may be able to help.

Just One, Not Two -- Never use two anti-virus products at the same time. Completely uninstall one before installing another; simply disabling/ shutting off one anti-virus while trying to use/ install another is not recommended and will cause some sort of problem/ errors - please "properly" un-install one before installing a new anti-virus software.

    Use the vendor's uninstall utility:

    - or try AppRemover,
    - or use the Windows add/remove software tool in the control panel. Use of the vendor's uninstall utility is preferred.

I would suggest use ZAX alone; not install NOD. [ If you insist on NOD - use only ZA Pro or ZA Free firewall.] Learn to use ZAX with virtualization, keep 'all' of your software up-to-date (pdf reader/ java/ adobe flash/ etc.) If you wish you may add Malwarebytes - free version as secondary scanner. And try to surf safely.

Thank you for the advice, naivemelody. I found another reference to this issue elsewhere after I had posted this message which gave some workarounds. Hopefully all will work out all right. I have Malwarebytes, however it became corrupted and I now cannot uninstall it.

Thank you again for your comments, very much appreciated.

Hope your day is a great one!

1.) you need to download the MalwareBytes Uninstall Cleaning tool.. (mbam-clean.exe)

    http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index...howtopic=69353

2.) There is a new Update of MalwareBytes 1.50.1.111
