    Default FF error

I'm running ZA Free 9.2.102.000 with FF 1.5.053.209 under XP SP3.

My anti-malware software is Microsoft Security essentials.

    My Browser is IE8

My ZA Control Center shows Anti-Phising as "Starting". The "Off" button and "Settings" button are both greyed out.

When I restart my computer I get the error message:

"ForceField.exe DLL failed to initialize because the Windows Station is shutting down"

    What's going on here?
    Thanks.

Unless your ZA installation is corrupted or the system is infected this is an indication that ForceField conflicts with something running on the system. ZA is compatible with MSE then it could be something else.

Try to boot selectively and see if you still get the error:

    1.) Click Start -> Run
2.) Type MSConfig in the run box and click OK
3.) Once in MSConfig, click the Startup Tab
4.) Remove the checks from everything except ZLClient
    5.) Click the Services Tab
6.) Place a check in "Hide All Microsoft Services"
7.) Now remove checks from everything other than TrueVector Internet
Monitor and ForceField (if present), and click OK.
    8.) Restart your computer

[NOTE: You can place your computer back into a normal startup process by
going back into msconfig and choosing the Normal Startup option on the
    General tab.]

If there are no more errors, re-enable slowly (by group of three or four) starting from services to startup items in order to find the culprit.
