Default How Do I Temporarily Shutdown iswsvc.exe ?

I am running ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite 9.3.037

While I like the added security of the ZoneAlarm Toolbar, there are times when I would like to shut it down so that it is not running in the background (when loading new software, burning an important CD-R or DVD-R, etc.).

If I shutdown the security suite, iswsvc.exe still runs.
Even if I uncheck the box to start the suite when windows starts and re-boot, the iswsvc.exe still runs in the background.

Attempting to shut down iswsvc.exe with WhatsRunning or ProcessExplorer just does nothing. iswsvc.exe still runs.

If I manually disable the process in the microsoft processes list, other Forcefield programs start and run instead and they will not allow themselves to be shut down either.

I really should not have to uninstall and re-install ZoneAlarm each time I want to shut down iswsvc.exe

    Is there a work around?

    (Desktop machine running Windows XP)
