Exclamation [SOLVED] False Positive: ffmpeg.exe --> Report to Kaspersky

Just ran a "super scan" with ZAX (Extreme) and it put the file ffmpeg.exe, which was part of "any video converter" from AnvSoft, into quarantine.

I believed it was a false positive so ran it through virustotal.com, file had been examined before, and NO malicious code was found, here is the report

    see:
    http://www.virustotal.com/file-scan/...704-1291370023

    summary of report:
    File name: ffmpeg.exe
    Submission date: 2010-12-03 09:53:43 (UTC)
    Current status: finished
    Result: 0 /43 (0.0%)

    Additional information:
    MD5 : 531906ea8a5b2b9e3fbab06274bb89c2
    SHA1 : 758d57460ade70760af712d97d0010affd86b544
    SHA256: 20cbc9ce7096ca9d852aefe55ff3cbba25bd7723bf53b37086 98ca8baf752704

I've reported it to Kaspersky as a false positive so ZA products should be fixed soon hopefully.

    Default Re: False Positive: ffmpeg.exe

If virustotal is reporting 0 detection than also ZA should not detect it. You should re-fresh the scan in virustotal (the link is from last year). If after the re-scan still 0 detections are reported than This means that your ZA signature is out of that date or we are talking about HEUR signature detections or ZA heuristic download scanner detections.

btw, no use to post it here. Just report it to kaspersky as indicated here:
How to diagnose and/or report antivirus/antispyware false positives

Or in case of ZA heuristic download scanner see here:
ZA advanced heuristic scan --> False positives?

Closing this thread since it cannot be dealt in this user forum. If you want to post more info just PM to have it reopened.
