    Unhappy Identity Lock not working

    Hi,

I have entered account numbers and passwords in the vault, have not put any information in the Trusted Sites tab, and have selected High as level of protection. When I try to email a password it shows up in the sent email as ***** which is good. However, when I go to my bank online site and key in the password, it goes right in. ZA does not ask for permission or attempt to block it. I thought ZA would prvent the password from going into a web form if I selected "High" level of protection. Can any one tell me what I am doing wrong?

    Thanks

    Dave

    Hi!
ID protection cannot break-in into secured connections like SSL/https. This is what is probably happening with your bank.
The information is sent encrypted and cannot be read (luckily ). The same will happen with e-mail servers that uses SSL channels.

    Cheers,
    Fax

I read through the Help section and understood that if a vault item was being sent via email that I would get an alert (I have the ID lock set to medium.) I put in a fake SS number in the vault and sent this in an email to a friend. I didn't get an alert. Am I doing something wrong?

Then your e-mail is using ssl protected channels (e.g. gmail, hotmail) or using uncommon ports and the data cannot be read since encrypted.
This has already been answered above.

    Thanks,
