    Smile [SOLVED] Trojan-Downloader.JS.Agent.ftw

If you can help with the following paid ZA alert I would be most grateful - Trojan-Downloader.JS.Agent.ftw

Today when logged into my eBay account and with the watched items page open a ZA alert opened for this trojan, located in the temporary internet files - unable to quarantine.

I did an advanced option scan which resulted in a new alert, and great relief when ZA found, and quarantined, the same trojan in the TIFs

What does this trojan actually do - how quick does it activate and what is down loaded?

Why no quarantine on the 1st alert?

Was it embedded in an ebay ad/page etc or had it been dormant on my pc?

No info via Google etc. - so any input welcome. Thanks.

GeorgeV Thank you for your reply.

Fortunately having read and printed out the STICKY Posts, some time ago, I was able to follow the instructions with out logging on to the forum and all is now ok.

ZA alerts here result in immediate ZA icon ‘right click’ and ’stop all internet activity‘, closes the door real quick. In addition, fully updated MWB is on standby.

This thread is now a top result in Google - so the following may be of help - if the infection path is Temporary Internet Files - Left click Favourites tab - select ‘View My Order Visited Today’ - this will give a good indication/confirmation of Trojan infection source/site.

Hopefully this thread will become a discussion re the points raised, plus maybe more on infection sources, thereby reducing infections.

    Thank you.
