Default Can't get internet access-please help

I have been a long time user of ZA free and have never really had a problem. But I just got a netbook and I installed ZA free right away as I always do but with ZA free running I get blocked from accessing the internet. The netbook is using XP and I granted access to the Generic Host Services with three checks and then an ask and I have also added my DHCP server as well. With my other pc's this is all I have had to do. I have every other program set to ask similar to my other pc's so when I use internet explorer I get a pop up asking me for access in ZA free but before I can click yes there are several alerts that za free blocked access from which is my home page. I then click ok to allow internet explorer but it cannot do so. Do you have any recommendations I can try?

When I installed it I did get asked to allow internet explorer as my default browser and generic host services to be granted automatic access and those were the only two I thought I saw mentioned. I did say no and chose the option to manually allow later which I did for Generic Host but still no access. The netbook settings in za free seem to match my other pc's so I am very confused.

If there are no other options can I reinstall again over this version to get to the install choices again. I would then try to allow those it asked and only change them later but I have never run into this before. I hope it is something fairly simple I can just alter in za free but if not can you please give advice on reset or reinstall?

Also I do know za free is causing this as when I do turn it off I can access internet.

Thanks in advance for any help.

As far as I know ZA does not officially support netbooks. May be this is the problem?

Thanks for the reply but I really doubt that is it. I have a nettop also with the same Atom processor running XP and had no issues with ZA free when I set it up last summer nor have I had any issues since. Since they have basically the same processor and operating system I don't see how that could be the problem I wouldn't think.

Are there any other suggestions of what it could be?

And is there a way to trigger or restore ZA free back to its default installation without deleting and reinstalling? I thought there was but I am not sure.

If I am stuck and have no choice but to uninstall can I just use the uninstaller itself or add/remove programs? Since I plan to reinstall again after I was not sure if that is enough or do I still have to make sure every remnant gone before reinstalling?

    Thanks again.
