Default Hardware requirements for ZA Products.

    Hi there,

I am purchasing a new PC which will have Windows 7 installed. I am going for 32-bit Windows 7 and I know that ZA will run on it.

I'm just asking, how much memory will I need to allow ZA Internet Security to run comfortably on Windows 7? (When I say "comfortably", I mean speed/response)

I know that Windows 32-bit will only recognise up to 4 GB of RAM, and ZoneAlarm Internet Secuirty Suite needs 2 GB of RAM. Any more memory installed with Windows 7 32-bit will not be used (and so is wasted).

Will 4 GB of RAM in total be enough for using ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite AND emailing/surfing/word processing? (I don't play games).

    Thanks for your help
    Stormsy. ^_^

    Here are the requirements:

In any case, regardless of the minimum requirement, ZA offers 30 days trial. Make use of it and test it on the system before purchasing. Its the only way to ensure ZA works well on the system.

    I agree with Guru Fax,

also, there are many other factors that influence the ("comfortably", I mean speed/response")

1.) the Actual Speed and Type Of Ram used,
2.) the size, Type and Speed of the CPU processor,
3.) the Size, Type and Speed of the Hard drive.
4.) Motherboard and Airflow inside the Case, etc..
5.) Available Memory and Speed of Video card, and Refresh rate of Monitor

Below is the Spec's of one of my faster Computers:
