    Default DataLock and HDD activity

Should I expect to see greater HDD activity with DataLock installed? In other words does a HDD get read/written to more often with DataLock installed? Just seem to be getting a lot more HDD activity than usual and it I think it's since I installed DataLock.
    Cheers.

As fa as I know, no. You should not get any noticeable HD activity by design.
You may want to check with official technical support for confirmation. Link to support in my signature.

    Hello,

Unless its doing the initial encryption of the entire HD you wont see more activity.
When the drive has been completely encrypted you don't even notice its there doing its job, it works in the background silently.
