Default ZA Extreme Security( ver 9.3.037) & Bit Comet

I am trying to get Bit Comet set up to scan my downloads for viruses. When I select the Detect button for virus programs it finds nothing. There is an option to manually install the settings but I don't know what to put in for the required settings. The required lines are " Anti Virus Program Path, and execute parameter."

    windows 7 sp1 64bit

Bit Comet is Conflicting Security Software

Just One, Not Two -- Never use two software Firewalls at the same time. Completely uninstall one before installing another. Use the vendor's uninstall utility or if not available, use the Windows add/remove software tool in the control panel.

Just One, Not Two -- Never use two Anti-virus products at the same time. Completely uninstall one before installing another.

Now Install the new ZA update (clean) and Accept the default Setting, Auto-Learn Mode and Choose Trusted Zone, not Internet Zone..

*** NOTICE: Please note that ZAAV, ZASS and ZAXS do not play nice with many overlapping security tools (even if disabled).

To troubleshoot ZAAV, ZASS/ZAXS issues removethe other Security programs and (if you can't live without the other Security programs - Not Recomended) - Only re-install them once you see that ZA works as it should.

*** For example, the Following programs may not work well with ZoneAlarm, Kaspersky (KAV) or (KISS),Norton/Symantec, McAfee,AVG, Spysweeper, NOD32, Spyware Doctor, trojan hunter, adware, SpyBotSearch & Destroy, PC tools Threat Fire, any other Anti-virus program, some Anti-spyware programs, Registry Guard or Registry locking tools, etc...
With Zone Alarm Extreme Security You don't need any other 3rd party Competing Security Program..

With ZA Extreme Security You are scanning with ZA HEURISTICS,
See here below some examples, reference to behavior is given, many legitimate software can perfom suspicious actions but not be malicious. Check the source of file and ensure is trusworthy.

What the ZA advanced scan does ?

Which kind of messages you get while scanning?

    Why it is safe?

Fine and dandy but it doesn't answer my question, or are you saying that ZA Extreme will not work with BitComet and that it cant be made to scan BitComet downloads?

    You have to point to:
    C:\Program Files\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm\multiscan.exe

No additional commands to be added. If Bit comet support ZA command line it should work.
