    Default 30 day trial and dead batteries don't go well together

    ok how do i completely remove zonezlarm so i can go back to the free version? because i removed the zonealarm extreme thinking i had removed all of the program, after that i replaced the battery and reinstalled the program. now it tells me the program is still expired AND it will not uninstall it. ~~snip~~

    Sorry all users here, no ZA staff.

    You can use the ZA removal tool. Then ensure you download the right file for the free version that you can find here:

    http://download.zonealarm.com/bin/fr...106_000_en.exe

    If the removal tool does not work, you can remove ZA manually:
    I cannot find or run the ZoneAlarm uninstall program (XP/2000)
    I cannot find or run the ZoneAlarm uninstall program (Vista)

    Click here for ZA Support
    Monday-Saturday 6am to 10pm Central time
    Closed Sundays and Holidays
