    Default Daily Sigs Not Updating

    I had to turn off auto-update a while ago because the window would freeze for hours. Manual update worked fine. But now, when I updated today, I checked the numbers and saw that it didn't update at all:

    ZoneAlarm Extreme Security version:9.3.037.000

    Also, I'm getting this pop-up saying, "Your FREE 2012 Version is Available. Rated 4 stars by PC Magazine. Includes new Antivirus, Enhanced Cloud Security, and friendly design. Download it now-FREE! But, I don't have the free version. I didn't click on it in case it messes up what I have.

    Any suggestions why I'm not updating and why the offer for a free version?

    You've had this same recurring problem for a long time..

    I would recommend that you Download the New release of ZA Extreme ver. 10.0.240.000 released June 7th, or if available in your notice 10.0.241.000

    1.) the Best method of updating is to Download the New ver 10 ZAX and save to Hard drive..

    Latest version 10.0.240.000 Released 6/7/2011
    ZoneAlarm Extreme Suite - Click Here

    2.) Now Uninstall Zone Alarm 9.3 using Windows Uninstall or on Windows 7 , Control Panel/Uninstal a program option.

    then (you can Download the ZA Removal Tool: http://download.zonealarm.com/bin/fr...load/clean.exe
    to cleanup any left over remnants)

    3.) Now Install the new update (clean Install) and Accept the default Setting, Auto-Learn Mode and Choose Trusted Zone, not Internet Zone..

    ZoneAlarm version: 10.0.241.000
    vsmon version: 10.0.241.000
    Driver version: 10.0.217.000
    Anti-virus engine version: 8.1.8.79
    Anti-virus signature DAT file version: 1054483680
    ZoneAlarm Browser Security: 1.5.310.0
    ZoneAlarm ForceField Spyware Scanner: 1.5.53.235
    ZoneAlarm ForceField Anti-Phishing Database: 1.2.104.0
    ZoneAlarm ForceField Spyware Sites Database: 04.155
