Default Daily deep scans no longer possible?

Bring someone that invested in security software because I am paranoid of being infested with a computer virus, I used to enable a daily deep scan. Now this is no longer possible? Please explain? Not happy that this purchased product now has seemingly less functionality and less ability to protect me should I desire deep scanning.

Deep scan every day? What a waste of energy, HD life and time. Sorry just joking....

As George says, we are all users here and ZA does not monitor this board. So this type of posts have little use, sorry.

Yes, it seems you cannot schedule a deep scan daily. However, If you keep your ZA always active and updated there is no reason to scan all files every day. They are scanned anyway. The common scenario about having new virus definition and the need to scan follow the same rule. The file will be blocked "on-access" and if you have been already been infected it is too late anyway. All in all, the increase in security is near to null as compared to the stress you expose your system to.

If you are desperate about your deep scan then you can still set deep scan in the advance options and then run it manually.

btw, it was already posted here:

    I agree with Guru Fax..
