    Default Downloads not being scanned

    My ZA Extreme has stopped scanning downloads. I can still download a file, but the ZA down and then scan dialog does not appear.

    Any ideas?

    ZA Extreme 10.0.250.000
    Windows XP Pro SP3 with latest upgrades
    No other AV software running

    Have you checked that the option is activated in the ZA web security advanced settings? Is it on IE or firefox or both?
    Anything special done? Upgrading to latest version, reinstalling, etc.

    Is virtualization working? Do you see a halo around your browser?

    Vitalization is set to off (and has been even when this was working). By a setting in the Advanced Settings I assume you mean the "Check File Downloads for Spyware" box, and it is checked.

    I am using IE, don't use Firefox

    No recent upgrading or reinstalling

    I would proceed with a reinstall but please check with the official technical support if they have a better idea (link to support in my signature).
    If you manage to resolve it please post back how you did it.
