    Thumbs up Will ZA AV+Firewall conflict with Avast Pro?

    I currently run Avast Pro AV (no firewall) and ZA free firewall (no AV).

    I just got an attractive offer to upgrade to ZA 2012 AV+Firewall but before I plop my money down I'd like to know if having both ZA AV and ZA Pro (with AV) will cause problems. Stuff I read on the net says it's a bad idea to have 2 AV programs running.

    Tnx.

    Hi!

    sorry you can't run ZA AV with ZA PRO or any combination of ZA prodcuts (ZA free, ZA AV, ZAPRO, ZASS, ZA Extreme). ZA AV is the same as ZA PRO but with AV added. Also you cannot run ZA AV with AVAST.

    Please consider to trial the software before buying. You will ensure it works well on the system.

    Thanks,
    Fax

    Hi;

    I agree with Guru Fax..

    Here is the Golden Rule on two Firewalls or two Anti-Virus..

    Just One, Not Two -- Never use two software Firewalls at the same time. Completely uninstall one before installing another. Use the vendor's uninstall utility or if not available, use the Windows remove software tool in the control panel.

    Thank you very much folks!

    Since I've already bought Avast Pro which is AV software, I'll pass on the tempting upgrade to ZA 2012 AV+Firewall. Now if I could just get a good deal on ZA's best firewall without AV.
