    Default ZA Extreme Auto Scan

I'm using Windows 7 Home premium 64bit, ZA Extreme 10.0.250, yet I still get the auto-scan on each boot-up which I really don't want yet the system is set to a weekly scan schedule in settings.

I see that this was supposed to have been fixed with build .250. Did I therefore miss something crucial when upgrading to .250? Would a clean reinstall be a better option?

    Much appreciated,

I'm using Windows 7 Home premium 64bit, ZA Extreme 10.0.250 and the Auto Scan after every Boot has been Fixed for me om my Computer.

Try a Clean Uninstall, run the ZA removal tool (to be sure there are no major left overs) then install ZA 10.0.250 with default settings (do not import any previous saved settings).

You find the ZA removal tool here:

    Much appreciated George.

I'll give this a try. As I recall, when I moved to .250 I just did its as an upgrade rather than a clean reinstall so therein lies the problem. Although full marks to ZA for finding malware which wouldn't have been detected for a week if it had been set according to my preferences.

    Kind regards
