Thanks for that. I'll have a goat what you said, then have a go at the ZA staff as you suggest to see if they can come up with anything. I will return.

Yes, please follow all the steps suggested by support and always come back to them in case it did not work. You need to go through a standard troubelshooting before the issue is logged and eventually escalated.

    UUhhm, does not look promising...

    See second screenshot here:

Under the application control section push on "settings". Its the same place where you find the MAX settings for application control that you should have changed already from AUTO to MAX.

Have set AUTO to MAX, but I still can't see anything to do with 'DefenseNet'.
Ah Ha. Found it. Wasnt paying attention. 1/10, see teacher.
I'll try that on my 64bit machine in a bit and report back.
PS. What does 'DefenseNet' do anyway?

It connects to a central database of know good and know bad programs. Based on this central determination programs are automatically given the right permissions (or blocked in case of malware).

With the settings on AUTO its normal you are NOT advised if an known application wants to connect to internet. It will be automatically allowed.

Tried that. Deleted LT from program control. Still did not popup for LT.
    Off to ZA help now.

Try very well at least two of three times, since you seem a bit confused on the steps to follow

    1. Application control: MAX (not AUTO)
    2. DefenseNET: OFF (or manual)

Remove LT entry, repeat the process two or three times. If still fails time to follow-up with support.

Yes, Ive done that and contacted ZACS and sent them a log and await their reply.
After doing a lot of experimentation, it seems that ZA .250 on my 64bit machine allows LT through by default (Access ticked). It can be blocked by manually setting it to Deny, but even if set to Ask, it does not. A default setting of Allow semms to me to be a bit silly, if the firewal does not block a firewall tester.

ZA .246 on my 32 bit machine behaves exactly as I would hope it would.
