Default Printing to a wireless printer on a Router

    I have the following setup:
A Windows 7 PC connected to a router with a cable
An Internet modem connected to the router with a cable
A Brother MFC-6490CW wireless printer connected to the router (wireless)

I cannot print when Zone alarm is running. I can print when Zone alarm is closed. I can print when I connect the printer with a cable.

My router lists an IP address under LAN port which is under Zone Alarm firewall zones and is listed as trusted. Trusted security is listed as Medium.

Under programs all I can find is "Spooler SubSystem app" which has 4 green ticks.

When I re ran the printer install wizard I got a message that the firewall had blocked access and I needed to consult my firewall manual. When I closed ZA and re-ran the wizard it advised that it had reconfigured a bunch of the windows firewall ports.

    Any assistance will be appreciated.

Is ZA firewall zone entry type "network" set as "TRUSTED"?
Also check the ZA logs for any IP been blocked and added it to the firewall trusted zones.
If not there add your DHCP and DNS to the firewall trusted zone.
