    Default ZoneAlarm Bowser Security detected problems with stability

    I am getting the same error message:

    ZoneAlarm Bowser Security detected problems with stability.......

    Trouble is, holding down control/shift keys and right clicking the ZoneAlarm icon does not bring up any option to reset.

    Computer and software details:

    ZoneAlarm Security Suite version: 10.1.056.000
    ZoneAlarm license key: NEVER post your license key, email address in a Public Forum
    vsmon version: 10.1.056.000
    Driver version: 10.0.217.000
    Anti-virus engine version: 8.1.8.79
    Anti-virus signature DAT file version: 1064385312
    ZoneAlarm Browser Security: 1.5.341.0
    ZoneAlarm ForceField Spyware Scanner: 1.5.341.0
    ZoneAlarm ForceField Anti-Phishing Database: 1.2.104.0
    ZoneAlarm ForceField Spyware Sites Database: 04.155

    Windows 7 Professional 64 bit SP1
    Internet Explorer 9.0.8112.16421

    i7 CPU 960 @ 3.20GHz
    24GB memory

    The new ZoneAlarm Security Suite Monitor does not seem to give any reset options. Can you advise any way to deal with this please?

    Hi!
    have you tried to clean the virtual data (web protection section)? ALso try to update to the latest version. But before fully remove your current one. Latest versions can always be found at: Looking for the latest version?

    Reset is in ZA tools --> preferences - but it will not help with your problem.

    Since you posted your ZA license in a public forum that could be read by thousands of users + indexed by search engines you should that check your license has not been compromised with the ZA customer support.

    Despite following your advice by completely removing ZoneAlarm and reinstalling to the latest version of ZoneAlarm Security Suite version 10.1.065.000, I am still getting the identical browser stability error messages.

    Any further advice?

    Do you get the message by browsing to any particular site?
    Are you running any third party IE add-ons or security tools aside from ZA and the standard OS components?

    The error message appears either when closing a tab on IE9 (version 9.0.8112.16421) or shutting IE down completely. Zone Alarm warning boxes about detecting browser stability then appear. Closing the box repeats the warning (a total of three times).

    No add-ons apart from Bing and the two Zone Alarm. Anything else has been disabled for some time.

    What do you mean by "the two ZA"? Also try to disable bing toolbar to be sure we test on clean IE.

    Reset ZA virtual data and IE as follow:

    Close all browsers
    Open ZoneAlarm
    Go to Internet/ Web Protection / Settings
    Click on "clear virtual data" button - Wait 1 minute to allow the cleaning
    Now turn ZA Web Protection OFF and follow these steps here

    Click Start / Control Panel / Network and Internet / Internet Options
    Click Delete / Delete Temporary Internet Files
    Security (Tab) / Default Level
    Advanced (Tab) / Restore advanced settings
