    Angry Advanced Download Protection in ZAES

    Advanced download protection doesn't work in ZoneAlarm Extrime Security 2012. I need a help!

    Please click on the Support link in my Signature then click on the LIVE CHAT Link at the top Left side of the SUPPORT page and troubleshoot the issue with Technical Support.


    Note:
    It is normally Helpful when reporting to Tech Support to give full details of your computer setup.
    also is this aDeskTop, Laptop computer or Netbook.
    Give the Exact Type and version of Zone Alarm used, Windows Version used, other security tools installed.

    any Error messages in the ZA logs?
    and what the steps you took to reproduce the problem.

    The More information you Report the more likely Tech Support will be able to understand the issue and try to help.

    Hello! I contacted Tech Support via Live Chat 2-3 weeks ago. I was advised to download new version 10.1.079.000 but problem with Advanced download protection was not resolved.

    I'm Sorry, we are all Users here, Tech Support does not read or Monitor this user supported Forum..

    You must continue returning Directly to Tech Support..


    Note:
    The More information you Report the more likely Tech Support will be able to understand the issue and try to help.

    If the Suggestion made by Tech Support did not work for you, you need to Return to Tech Support and tell them what they suggested did not work and then be more specific about what you have tried to resolve your issue, this will insure that unresolved issues will be escalated to Development if it turns out to be a Zone Alarm problem and not a local issue with your computer.


    If it is a ZA problem it is essential to report it to ZA Support directly. If No report, then no fix any time soon.
    Also the more reports by users Directly to Support on the same issue the more likely the issue will be escalated faster to the development team.


    Please post back here if you find a solution. It may help other users...

    Thank you for replay! Yesterday I contacted TECH SUPPORT but problem was not solved. I will try to re-install ZoneAlarm.

    Its important you keep going back to support and inform them that what they suggested did not work. This is the only way to get your issue eventually escalated to development team.

    serge1, You need to continue with Support.Ask Tech Support if they required for you to upload logs to them.

    I have similar issue.In my case Advanced Download Protection in ZAES .079 version doesn't work in IE 8.

    I did full reset of IE 8.Also ran IEcleaner.exe.None of this resolve it for me.Uploaded logs to Support.The more users upload logs so issue can be resolve.

    Works find in Firefox 8.0.1.

    Have no other suggestions to offer.
