    Default stop Scan with Ext RAID?

    Dear All,

    I have an Ext. RAID that comes on when I turn on my computer, but as soon as the RAID installs/boots up my ZA suite starts scanning.

    Is there a way to turn this off?

    Give the Exact Type and version of Zone Alarm used, Windows Version used, Browser type and version, other security tools installed.

    is this a First time install?
    Stopped working recently?
    any other issues?
    any Error messages in the ZA logs?
    and what are the steps you took to reproduce the problem.

    The More information you post the more likely users here will be able to understand the issue and try to help.

    Please List any other Security Programs installed as these programs may be conflicting with Zone Alarm.

    Oh Jeez, My bad................its been awhile, apologies

    Desktop, Win7 Ultimate OS, AMD Quad core, 160GB HD, 8GB RAM, latest version of ZASS

    Lacie 2TB Ext RAID, connected via USB 3.0

    Check under ZA tools --> scheduled scans --> "Initial task start time" and move in the future all the dates you see that are from past. See if this will calm down ZASS.

    Please click on the Support link in my Signature then click on the LIVE CHAT Link at the top Left side of the SUPPORT page and troubleshoot the issue with Technical Support.

    Please tell Tech Support the Exact Version # of ZASS you have installed, the Current version is 10.1.079.000

    mmmm, OK

    Its odd that the latest version as you say is 10.1.079.000, but my one shows a version of:

    10.0.250.000 with a message that I am completely up to date

    Yes, automatic update will propose you what centrally has been decided to release. You will need to install it manually. Remember first to remove fully your current ZA.
    Why, when, what --> You will need to check with ZA staff at their support (all users here).
