Unhappy Has current Browser updates killed ZA?

    Hello.

My browsers (IE, FF, Chrome) are dying to the extent that I can't even browse the internet without having to end the browser processes

It started happening recently. If I shut down ZA everything is fine. Pages zip along at a nice pace.

Has ZA recently pushed out an update that would cause this? Has anyone else seen this behavior recently?

Here's my info, ZA team. Thanks in advance:

    ZoneAlarm Extreme Security version: 10.0.246.000
    vsmon version: 10.0.246.000
    Driver version: 10.0.217.000
    Anti-virus engine version: 8.1.8.79
Anti-virus signature DAT file version: 1080316288
    ZoneAlarm Browser Security: 1.5.311.0
    ZoneAlarm ForceField Spyware Scanner: 1.5.53.235
    ZoneAlarm ForceField Anti-Phishing Database: 1.2.104.0
ZoneAlarm ForceField Spyware Sites Database: 04.155

Sorry all user here. If you want to contact ZA staff you will need to live chat at their support (link in my signature).

You are running a quite outdated ZA Extreme. First fully remove ZA from XP add/remove programs, or win7 (or Vista) uninstall a program (reboot).

Turn ON windows Firewall (if not ON) then go here: Looking for the latest version? Download the latest version and install it.

Note that ZA browser protection does not support Chrome. So if you have slow down with chorme is unlikely related to ZA. Also note that ZA lastest version support Firefox 10.X and not earlier build. If you have firefox 9 or earlier please update to version 10 (after having removed your old ZA but before installing the latest ZA version).

    Thanks,
    Fax
