Cool Can't add application to ZA Free control area. > Try to Reset the Database

I can't add an application in the application control area. I can click open and the .exe will appear for a second and then go away. What am I missing here?

I wonder if this option is present only in paid version as I don't see this option. Older version used to have this option of editing programs that you could edit properties of. I don't see it anymore.

Have never use the Free version. In the paid version it's under Application Control=> Settings=> View Programs=> Click on the Program then on Options Tab and it brings you to Program Options. You can edit settings there.

The latest venison of Free ZoneAlarm does allow you to add Application to the list.

You may have a corrupt DB and thats why your settings don't stay in the software.

Try to reset the DB. You will loose all settings in the software.

Do not back up and restore your setting because you could reintroduce the issue into the DB if you do that. Just start fresh

Open ZA > Tool > Preferences > click the Reset to Default button.
