Default remove free zone alarm problem

Installed free zone alarm december 2010, upgraded fromVista to Windows 7 after that. Had many problems, tried to remove zone alarm using control panel, all that did was remove the trace from the installed programs. My copy is in program files\checkpoint. I have , under the checkpoint folder, two folders, one is forcefield and the other is zone alarm, however no trace of any "uninstall" program exists. I have tried to reload the free zone alarm, but get an error message of " 0xc000007b" and it refuses to install.I tried to use= C:\program files\zone labs\zonealarm\zauninst.ex /clean but that refuses to work.
    Any suggestions will be appreciated

I forgot to mention on my first post that whenever I was having some computer problems I opened ZoneAlarm and told it to deactivate itsself, not remove it. Now I can't activate it again, there is no ICon on the desktop, nor an Icon in the inconTray.

From ZoneAlarm Readme : With ZoneAlarm installed, upgrading from Microsoft Vista to Windows 7 is not supported.ZoneAlarm will not run properly after this particular operating system upgrade. As a workaround, please uninstall ZoneAlarm before upgrading from Vista, and then reinstall it onto Windows 7.

Only suggestion I can offer is use ZoneAlarm Free Firewall Technical Support at this link :
