Default Continuos activity showing on ZA Ver 5.5.062.011

    Hello
My ZoneAlarm Security Suite version 5.5.062.011 (I know it is old but was working just fine) is showing continuous activity. This since I had a new ADSL modem installed.

    ~~snip~
If anyone can shed some light on this problem and how to fix it I would be most appreciative.

    Thank you for your time

Sorry, there is no support for your Very old version 5.5..

    Solution:
ZoneAlarm 6.5 or below will no longer function.
Due to missing necessary root certificate that are no longer available.
    Un-install your version of ZoneAlarm.
Your old ZA v5.5 License key will not work with Current Zone Alarm, even if somehow it has not Expired.

You can Download the latest version of Zone Alarm Here:

    http://server.iad.liveperson.net/hc/...10&action=view

NOTE: The ZA Version 10.1.079.000 Update is Free if your valid ZA registration has not Expired:

Note: you will get no support what so ever from Checkpoint at all if you have a problem with older ZA Versions.

Support will tell you to Upgrade to the latest ZA version before they even begin to help you.

As of 7/15/09 if you are running any ZoneAlarm product version 6.5 or below no longer functions.Due to missing necessary root certificate.

If you have a valid, genuine ZoneAlarm license key in good standing you will need to upgrade by downloading version 10.1.079.000.

Download latest version of ZoneAlarm :

    http://server.iad.liveperson.net/hc/...10&action=view

If you have valid current license you can seek ZoneAlarm Support :

Talking Re: Continuos activity showing on ZA Ver 5.5.062.011

Thanks guys.. kind of the answer I expected... However.. for what it is worth, I still have some time on my subscription so. I reinstalled ZA and selected a clean instal. Initially my ZA worked as it should activity wise, then re playing the events since my new modem was installed I found that "if" I have show icon selected on my Internet Connection I get the continuous activity issue. Solution: uncheck the "show icon" available from properties of the Internet Connection.

Strange, current licenses do not support such an old version. I wonder what kind of subscription you have
