    Default Reaching router on 192.168.1.1

I like to open acces to my router on 192.169.1.1 but zonealarm pro is blocking this. I have to unistall ZoneAlarm pro to access my router settings. This must be easier. Wich settings on ZoneAlarm I have to use?

    - Exact version of ZA used (right click the ZA icon near the clock --> about --> Copy to clipboard --> paste here ina reply. Be sure to remove any license information).

    - Version of the OS? and service pack?

    - Settings of ZA in the ZA firewall zones? Normally You should have your router there as TRUSTED (DHCP?) as well as your LAN (192.68.1.0/255.255....) as TRUSTED.

    - Settings of your ZA trusted zone (medium?)

    - Long time user of ZA? Or just installed?

More information you provide more likely other users here will be able to help. Your case sounds like incorrect or corrupted ZA settings.

    Thanks,

I would first try a reset of the setting. Go to Tools --> preferences --> Push on "reset to default" --> reboot the PC and test now. DO NOT restore any previous backup of the settings.

There should not be any reason why ZA should block your router. If so, there may be conflicts with other tools installed (often security related) or corruption of the system making ZA not working correctly. Which antivirus solution are you running? Updated it recently? Something else installed or updated at the same time as the problem occurred? How do you connect to internet? Any specific non-standard setup (e.g. VPN, 3G connection)?

    Thanks,
