Hi, I run with ZA Internet Security (version numbers below). Over the weekend my PC was infected wit the PCEU ransomware virus. Fortunately I was able to remove it be restoring my hard-disk to the previous month's backup so no harm done, just wasted time.
My question is: how did this malware get through the protection that ZA is supposed to provide? And what is ZA doing to ensure that their product is upgraded to ensure this does not happen again?
I know "we're all users here", but I think other users should be aware that ZA is not able to detect and protect from a virus that is becoming increasingly common.
