Default [SOLVED] Foxit reader "not-a-virus" --> update antivirus signature

Yesterday, ZA appeared to find not-a-virus: Adware Win32.Bromngr.a which it classified as a medium risk virus. It only seemed to affect Foxit. There seems to be 4 or 5 viruses. I am not the only person this has happened to and others who have had the same messages on their computers have run other anti virus programs which have not found this. Is this a false positive.

Sounds like a false positive. Report it to Kaspersky.

I too am having a similar problem... using FOXIT READER and ZoneAlarm Pro + AntiVirus.

I have reported this problem to KASPERSKY... I am including details of that report, here, just for the record:

I reported this (ZA Pro + AntiVirus not NOT allowing FOXIT READER to run/be re-installed) to KASPERSKY and received the following email reply at 10:05 PM EST:

Sorry, it was a false detection. It will be fixed in the next update.
    Thank you for your help.

Default [SOLVED] Foxit reader "not-a-virus" --> update antivirus signature

    Hi!

this false positive has been fixed by Kaspersky. Ensure your antivirus signature are updated. Next time please see the sticky thread here:

How to diagnose and/or report antivirus/antispyware false positives

Version 10.1 is rather outdated you may want to consider updating it. See here: Looking for the latest version?
Note that automatic update is turned ON only for updates from version 9 (not supported anymore) to version 10 or 11.

    Thanks,
    Fax
