Default ZA blocks outgoing calls to DNS server

    Hi!
    I have
ZoneAlarm Free Antivirus + Firewall version: 10.2.068.000
    Vsmon version: 10.2.068.000
    Driver version: 10.2.068.000
    Antivirus engine version: 8.2.11.97
Antivirus signature DAT file version: 1098981056

It blocks all outgoing calls to 10.1.0.7:53 - DNS server, although I put this IP in "Trusted zone".. Why? It is normal or not? As I remember the previously version of ZA didn't this..
    Thanks..

That blocking happens since you probably not trusting your network. In the ZA firewall zone try to set TRUSTED your network (that IP range cannot be reached from the internet). Reboot and test again.

Also double check that ZA trusted zone security is set to MEDIUM (default) and NOT high. Otherwise trusting IP will have no effect as everything will be on "public".

If this fails you may need to reset fully your ZA settings or even fully clean and reinstall. If you reinstall better move to the most recent version.
