Angry ZA Extreme 11: Lost password

Using ZAES 11.0. My wife's Grandson had been playing around with my computer when we wern't there. So, I passwordes ZA. Guess what, I didn't write down the password. You'd think that after 30 years I'd learned to write this stuff down but NO!, ***** that I am. Please, how does one reset or remove the password in ZAES 11.0?
    Anxiously,

Default Sky Soldiers Et al. Re: Password Recovery

    Sir,
I did search the KB before I posted that help question. In fact, I searched through many of the forum topics looking for solutions. I even followed the instructions that you pointed me to before posting the fiorst time. I am using ZAES 11.0 & Win 7 Pro.

The contents of my C://Program Files (x86)/Checkpoint/Zonealarm folder is:

    avsys
    diagnostics
    drivers
    fde
    help
    lib
    mail frontier

These are all of the folders in the afore mentioned folder. As you can see there is no folder named "data". The only mention of an ndb file is a ndb.dll in that same directory.

Just wanted to let ya'll know that those instructions are not quite up to date (or something). I guess a clean and install of ZAES is all I can do at this point. Not a big deal, had to do it a few times in the last "decade plus" that I've been using ZA products.
    Tnx,
    Dusty

Yup, I'm sure. Just in case, I just did it again with the same results. The joke's really on me. Went to unstall and guess what? It wants the password.
<sigh> Ah well, such is life.
    Thanks for tryin'
