Angry Cannot install Zone Alarm Pro in XP 'safe' mode

I let Zone Alarm expire (bad boy) and I think I picked up a virus. Windows will not boot in 'normal' mode, it will only boot in''safe' mode (with networking)
I have downloaded Zone Alarm Pro but I cannot install in'safe mode.I need to run Virus check to see if this is the problem.
I have run 'System Mechanic' it did not fix the problem.
Question :- How do I install Zone Alarm Pro in 'safe mode ?
My previous version was Zone Alarm Internet Security Suite

You could try one of the Free Online Virus Scanners in Safe Mode with Networking to try to clean your system.

Just Google for free online antivirus scanners. Also search for Rescue Disk that you can burn (iso image).

    Another option here :

These are tools to remove severe malware infestations that may interfere with the ability of ZoneAlarm products to properly install and function.Good Rescue Disk here also.
